Hello I know this is a calgary and are conditions thread but i am off to vancouver next week and am bringing the xc bike! I was wondering if you guys have ridden or know where a good source is for trails in the vancouver, squamish area?? Any help would be appreciated. mike
Squamish had a lot of trails closed due to an aggressive cougar last week - they have since reopened. Grab the map in squamish and hit up all the trails in the Alice lake area. The trails around half nelson are also good... hell most of the trails out there are amazing! Vancouver - grab Sharon and Wades book and start checking things off. Take warning that Cypress is not that friendly for alberta riders... we don't see trails that tech very often. I have a love/hate relationship with Cypress.

Thanks very much. The majority of the praise should go to Tom Hamilton and Dave Wilks - they took the route and objectives and turned it into a great trail. Hopefully, we can get them back for the West Bragg development.

Did you hit up that new e-panty shop on 17th to get those fancy ones?

i'm not sure which trail you're talking about but i can't see a problem putting up a small sign letting people know which way which trail goes. shouldn't be a problem.

No worries on getting out to work on the trail this week. It's supposed to be miserable anyway. Enjoy the coast!
